Wild for Climate is a women-led, grassroots movement reshaping outdoor culture from the ground up.
We come from creative work, environmental work, and lived experience in the outdoor world. We have seen how the industry celebrates access to public lands while staying silent about climate collapse and the destruction of wildlife; climate disasters, wild horse and burro roundups, wolf killings, and habitat loss. Species disappearing across the very places outdoorists claim to protect. These issues rarely enter the outdoor conversation, yet they define the future of the wild.
Conservation alone is not addressing the urgency we face. It leaves entire species behind and treats climate as a separate category instead of the foundation of every outdoor experience. We are here to expose what goes unseen and imagine an outdoor industry that truly puts nature and wildlife first.
Wild for Climate creates climate activations uniting outdoor sports and climate centered audiences.
We hold space for honest climate talks in outdoor communities and industry events to give folx an opportunity for open discussion about climate collapse.
We collaborate on films, journalism, podcasts, and creative projects that tell the stories the industry avoids.
We bring together environmentalists, athletes, filmmakers, journalists, and community voices to push for accountability and cultural change.
This is a movement committed to protecting the wild in full and demanding an outdoor culture that reflects that responsibility.
